Problems

  • !
    Software version disclosed
Nameservers · These nameservers report their software version via version.bind/version.server, which helps attackers find known vulnerabilities: ed.ns.cloudflare.com: "2026.10.2"; elle.ns.cloudflare.com: "2026.10.2". Hide or replace the version string.
    #17
  • !
    Not signed
DNSSEC · The zone is not signed with DNSSEC, so answers can be spoofed. Enable DNSSEC at your DNS provider and publish the DS record at your registrar.

Problems

  • ✗
    Policy not reachable
TLS · The MTA-STS record exists but the policy could not be fetched, so senders ignore MTA-STS: https://mta-sts.stocktwits.com/.well-known/mta-sts.txt returned HTTP 403.

  • !
    Not enabled
DNSSEC · DNSSEC is not enabled for this domain. Consider enabling DNSSEC to protect against DNS spoofing attacks.
    #8
  • !
    More than 5 MX records
MX · Found 7 MX records, which is more than the recommended maximum of 5. Too many MX records may indicate a misconfiguration.
    #13
  • !
    1024-bit DKIM key
DKIM · 1024-bit RSA keys are the minimum and are considered weak today: k1 (1024 bits), s2 (1024 bits). Rotate to a 2048-bit key.
